How to clean the skin after tattoo
Jun 03, 2022
After the tattoo artist finishes tattooing the pattern for us, the effect may be very satisfactory to you. But remember, after tattooing, we must be more careful and take good care of the tattoos on our bodies. You know, after tattooing, many people didn't pay attention to care and maintenance, resulting in some details that were originally perfect, but there were problems in the recovery process, resulting in defects. Therefore, how to clean tattoos has become a more important issue. So what should I do after tattooing?
1. After tattooing, remember to clean the wound
Be sure to clean the wound after tattooing, and wash frequently before scabbing. The reason for cleaning is that even if the tattoo itself is a wound, bleeding and cell tissue fluid will seep after the skin is damaged. If it is not cleaned, the tissue fluid will seep out and accumulate layer by layer after air drying, thus forming a thick scab. When the thick scab falls off, it will affect the effect of the tattoo drawing - that is, it may make the tattoo fade or seriously fade. Therefore, if you want to maintain the best state of the pattern as much as possible, the cleaning after tattoo is a necessary procedure.
2. Pay attention to the time of fresh-keeping film
Generally, just after the tattoo, the tattooist will wrap the fresh-keeping film on the tattoo so that the cell tissue fluid will not dry too quickly after exudation, so it is best to go home and wash within three to four hours, otherwise the skin will be wrapped with the fresh-keeping film for too long, which will lead to the "wound" of the tattoo festering due to airtightness, with serious consequences. When cleaning, use warm water and gently wipe the tattooed part with your palm to remove the exuded blood and tissue fluid. After washing, dip it gently with a clean towel and dry it. After the skin is dry, apply a layer of special tattoo ointment, and then don't care about it. After about three to four hours, you can gently wipe off the special ointment for tattoo with clean toilet paper before cleaning (because the metabolism of tattooed wound skin will be accelerated after applying the ointment and tissue fluid will be secreted), and then apply the special ointment for tattoo after washing.
3. Pay attention to the use of special ointment for tattoo
Wash every three to four hours and apply the special ointment for tattoo. Don't wipe anything after cleaning before going to bed. Go to bed, continue to wash and wipe after getting up, and persist for 2-3 days until the tattooed skin begins to harden. Once the tattoo wound hardens, you should wash less and touch less water as much as possible to keep the skin dry. If you wash too much, it will affect the color and effect of the restored pattern, just as the scab is blistered off. If the skin is too dry, you can moisturize the skin with a little special tattoo ointment. This method may be troublesome, but it can really prevent scabs from forming on the tattoo. In addition, it needs to strictly control the time and don't be lazy.
Only by doing the above three points, the effect picture will be the most perfect after your tattoo is restored. After all, tattooing is a lifelong thing. This process must be well handled.
